Our mission is to provide information and resources that foster academic, social, and professional growth – both collectively, and for each individual member of our learning community. Through consultation and collaboration, we offer preventative, responsive, and developmental programming designed to create a healthy school climate in which students, families, and school personnel work together to achieve outcomes beneficial to a healthy society.

The Student Services Department does a lot more than scheduling at Collins Career Technical Center. Our staff is dedicated to the students of this school and are willing to do everything it takes to help our students achieve their career goals.   • Transportation Assistance: Facing transportation barriers shouldn't stop you from attending class. We can explore solutions to help you get to and from school reliably.
  • Safe and Stable Housing: A stable living environment is crucial for success. Mrs. Allen can connect you with resources and support to find secure housing solutions.
  • Coping with Trauma or Poverty: Life throws curveballs, and we're here to help you cope. Mrs. Allen can connect you with resources and support groups to help you process difficult experiences and move forward.

Graduation, Reality, and Dual-Role Skills (GRADS)

If you're a pregnant or parenting teen with aspirations to graduate high school and build a bright future, our GRADS program is your beacon of hope. It's an in-school program meticulously designed to empower teen parents with the skills and support they need to succeed in school and raise healthy children.

The GRADS program is more than just academics. We recognize teen parents' unique challenges, and our program is specifically designed to address them. In addition to providing a robust academic foundation, we offer a comprehensive support system. This includes childcare assistance, transportation assistance, and help with housing. We understand that a robust support system is crucial for your success, and we're here to provide that for you.
