Counslor meeting with students

Our mission is to provide information and resources that foster academic, social, and professional growth – both collectively, and for each individual member of our learning community. Through consultation and collaboration, we offer preventative, responsive, and developmental programming designed to create a healthy school climate in which students, families, and school personnel work together to achieve outcomes beneficial to a healthy society.

The Student Services Department does a lot more than scheduling at Collins Career Technical Center. Our staff is dedicated to the students of this school and are willing to do everything it takes to help our students achieve their career goals. If you need to speak with one of our counselors or social services staff members please click the button below and someone will reach out to you as soon as possible.

Counseling

Sometimes, the high school journey can involve more than just academics. We recognize that positive emotional well-being is as crucial as a robust academic plan. Our school counselors play a pivotal role in this. They are here not just to listen and offer support but to create a safe and welcoming space where you can freely discuss anything that's on your mind, ensuring you feel secure and comfortable.

However, for specific questions about classes, schedules, graduation requirements, and other details, please direct them to your assigned counselor. They'll have the most in-depth knowledge of your academic path. They can quickly help you resolve any issues or concerns. Just check the list below to find out who your assigned counselor is.
